Finally, I walked over to the waitress’ station and asked for the things we needed. It was prom night and many students splendid looking students made for a busy night. This place is still great! I haven’t been here in years and decided to bring my kiddos in for pancakes and egg. We were not disappointed. We were greeted by every person working in the front. The kids wanted to sit at the counter so at the counter we sat and watching them throw down in the back while we waited for our food was a great experience. April was working the counter was sweet and punctual. Our order was taken with ease, food was brought to us with lightning speed and was just as delicious as I remember it. I had the bacon and eggs and the kids pancakes eggs and bacon. Their food was gone almost before I started mine. That’s a good sign with my picky eaters. We WILL be back. Thank you for keeping up and sticking around.So yummy, very refreshing also addicting.On the two occasions we needed emergency care for our cat, Blue Pearl was there. The staff is so nice. Our last visit was hard, as we had to make the difficult decision to let our cat pass over the Rainbow Bridge. (She was almost 24!) We wanted to be selfish and keep her forever. But, we had to love her more to let her go. The vet was very honest with us about what was going on. The decision was ours, w/o any pressure. I appreciated that. They gave us time to say our goodbyes and we were with Lucy when she passed. It was all handled with compassionate care and dignity. Lucy let go knowing she was loved. Thank you, Blue Pearl. I was expecting the best experience ever in a cool atmosphere but it ended up being one of the worst, which is dad because the really do have a cool ambiance inside. We walked in and were told it would be 20-30 min wait probably sooner and we ended up waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes. During this wait, two parties next to us said the host sat people before us and then saw a party of clearly people who were his friends get sat within ten min of waiting. It was so clear to everyone waiting that there was no method to the seating, after a few angry parties went up to him they started to get seated and then we finally got sat as well. Our waiter didn't come to us for 15-20 minutes and we brought our own liquor that we literally started drinking warm bc we figured a buzz would help with the annoyance of having to wait. When we finally got someone to take our order it he was quick and didn't acknowledge making us wait or not bringing drinks after we'd been waiting to just finally eat for an hour and thirty minutes now. We got the truffle chips app which is literally fried ridge potato chips with sauce on the side for $9... Lol. Then we got the chicken pesto pizza and chicken gyro which were very mediocre and dry. Same chicken on pizza was used for the chicken gyro which was funny. We also ordered our dessert with our main course in the beginning because we afraid of having to wait a long time for someone to come back to us. Regardless the dessert never came out, we had been done our meal for 20 minutes and multiple servers walked by looked at us and kept walking. Finally flagged down a server and cancelled our dessert order and asked for the check. The waiter didn't ask or say anything just "I'll get the check". Someone else came over and gave us a free dessert to take home which was a courtesy I guess of a night waiting to be blown away by the dessert that we're known for. Overall just disappointed that an establishment with so many face reviews didn't even come close to matching them. Hoping they figure out a better system of seating and assigned servers bc this was my absolute worst customer service experience ever. If you want to go for just the cave environment go for it.Great selection on smoothies and wraps (try the buffalo chicken wrap) staff it's always friendly and eager to ask any question you haveCollege Depot is an AMAZING college access resource! Their online scholarship search page is so easy to use and the staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable!Best KBBQ place in LA! It's on the pricier side. The meat is so tender and the pomegranate soju is awesome! I think we got around 8 different kinds of meat and I can't even tell you which one I liked the best because they were all so good but the pork belly, brisket and beef tongue are definitely a must. We will definitely be back next time we go to LA!

We ordered the deviled eggs and they literally came out 2 minutes after we ordered them. They were cold and obviously had been sitting in the refrigerator for some time waiting to slide onto an unlikely victim's plate. The hummus was run of the mill. I couldn't bring myself to move on to the large plates especially given the menu price points. Our waiter seemed like he was under the influence of something (seriously) and couldn't focus on the conversation. When the server came back and asked what entree we wanted and we broke the news that we were done, he was clearly annoyed. Basically they don't seem to have a grasp on what they want their brand, customer service and atmosphere to be. I would be furious if I were the general manager. This place has huge potential but only if they clean up the staff and get a new chef. The first part of our experience was great! The saleswoman really did know what she was talking about, however after showing us the beds she became pretty pushy. We decided to purch...ase the bed and we were told we would receive a call the next day to set up delivery because for some reason we were not able to set up delivery after purchasing our $1500 bed with a $69 delivery fee. We received the call Tuesday and set up delivery for Saturday between 11:00am and 12:00pm. Friday we received another call and were told they could not deliver at our scheduled time but they could deliver between 6-7pm. We said no to that and we were then asked if they could deliver between 2-4pm. We agreed to that time and waited until 4:00pm Saturday to call and ask why our bed had not yet been delivered. The associate I spoke with on the phone said "oh they aren't there yet" I was told he would make a call and get back to me. When he called back he proceeded to argue with me and tell me the delivery time was set from between 2:00 and 4:30. Even though 4:30 was never a time mentioned to us. He then said they tried to deliver the bed on Friday but we never set a delivery time for Friday because no one was home. I will NEVER make a purchase from this place again.
Castaway is an excellent spot! The food is as authentic as you will find without heading out to the islands and the staff is super accommodating. The Chinese Chicken is a must have with fried rice which is out of this world goodness. The Chicken Lo-Mein is very good as well. I had the Parmesan crusted chicken with the mashed potatoes and broccoli. Absolutely delicious. The chicken was crispy yet so juicy inside. And the lemony cream sauce on top is just fantastic. My husband had the rib eye also with potatoes/broccoli. He said the steak was well seasoned and easy to chew (not tough like other places) and cooked just how he asked. Needless to say he finished the entire plate. My toddler had a kids meal which he picked at and ate a little here and there, which is the usual because he's a picky toddler all of a sudden. But he did tell me the fries were very yummy. The chocolate chunk pizookie was spectacular! Fresh baked cookie with ice cream on top, simplicity makes this one so good. The only thing I would skip are the fruity cocktails. I ordered the watermelon basil margarita and I expected some fresh watermelon in there. It does say puree, but I'm pretty sure it was some type of syrup. It didn't taste like real watermelon and it gave the drink a syrup like consistency. The signature margarita is much better. The reason for the 5 starts instead of 4 was our server Tyler. He was the best! Informative, nice, always checked on us. That is the kind of server all restaurants need. Every time we go in we find out something new and awesome to take away, whether it be their huge collection of books, games, or movies or their game room or books I can download on my kindle. I especially love all the activities for the kids, we just participated in the Dr Seuss challenge and signed up for the 1000 books before kindergarten challenge. Lastly I would just like to say that every one of the employees and volunteers we've encountered has been very sweet and very helpful.Super friendly and helpful staff. I've gone in for copies a few times and the customer service was exceptional. If I need copies in the future, this is where I'll go!!
I've shopped here many times with my family, and we love it. Toys are super cheap for my son, we always find something we need there! We always frequent the thrift stores and this ones our favorite!Very welcoming and nostalgic, the manager was helpful in so many ways. To unlock the rooms we used real keys, remember those??? The Hotel was in walking distance to several breakfast cafe's, and other eateries, also on the (free) bus line. Every once in awhile I still get the craving for Central American pastries, especially since talking with a friend of mine from El Salvador about the different sweets they have. I promised her if I found a good Salvadoran bakery I would bring her back some desserts... And I did! :D I saw this place on Yelp and so I decided to check it out. For parking there is a huge parking lot on the side of it so park there. As you walk in you are in the bakery side. On the right is a place to get lunch and dinner but I didn't get anything to eat here. As far as their selections go I was impressed. A lot of the typical fare and some other more American pastries as well. I am a total sucker for just trying different cookies so that's what I did. I think they were .80 cents each on someone them. There is a minimum of a $5.00 charge on any credit card transaction. The young man behind the counter was friendly polite and spoke perfect English. The salmon kabob entree was perfect - The fava bean rice that accompanied it was steaming and flavored to perfection; the simple salad of iceburg lettuce and tomatos was surprisingly refreshing; and the high quality salmon was cooked to maximize flavorfulness (slightly crispy on the outside, tender on the inside). It was $15 for the dinner portion, which was huge. We also got the cucumber yogurt dip as an appetizer, which was delicious and strangely addictive. The owner/server is one of those peope who obviously loves feeding people good food and seeing them enjoy his creation. The restaurant was spotless throughout (including restrooms).This cafe is amazing! Savory crepes... Yes please! Sweet Crepes OMG YES!!! Oh and I can't forgot the fresh juices.... Bring it on Bonjour Cafe! $12-$15 avg per person for fresh clean eating with a sweet smack! This afternoon, brunch ish time we decided to stop in prior to heading out to state fair at meadowlands! We ordered 2 fresh juices. Pineapple orange and carrot Apple ginger. To eat we ordered crepes. Steak portobello and Swiss cheese and a sweet strawberry banana and Nutella crepe. The fresh fruit juices were banging. Made to order and simply hearing the juice machine put smiles on our faces. Both drinks were lovely, fresh and healthy for us! Both crepe plates came with fresh half slice of pineapple... Yum! The savory crepes come with a side salad and the sweet crepes come with whipped cream. These crepes were amazing! Came out in no time and had and tongues in flavor heaven! The fat kid in me wanted to order crepes to go... That's how good everything was. I didn't want to leave. I still love Steve and Andreas crepe pancakes, but Bonjour is now added to routine spots. The cafe is cute and small and they offer outside seating. The beer selection was pretty good. My husband, Curtis, ordered the prime rib, which was $25.00. His supper came out and it looked like a different cut of meat. We asked the server and he knew he had mistakenly got his order wrong. What my husband got was a bison ribeye, which was $32.95. We had the option to send it back, but we didn't want to wait for the kitchen to prepare the prime rib. Curtis opted to just keep what he had, although he is not a big fan of bison. The server charged us the $32.95 for the wrong order. However, the manager corrected it and charged us half the cost of the bison. The four other entrees ordered were fair.Mike has served me for the last 10 years or so. We have had lots of changes in our policies and residences. Mike is quick and efficient. 3 different times Mike called me to inform me of ways to improve coverage and lower payments. I was amazed at his customer service. Outstanding! I had one big claim because of theft and they walked me through the process. I have recommended them to all my friends and most of them have moved coverage to them. In a world that is less and less personal, it is great to have such great service!This pharmacy represents the Gold Standard of what a pharmacy should be, and the standard by which every pharmacy should be measured. There was an asian Supervisor with salt and pepper hair who rang me up. I bought a ruler and after he rang me up he asked me "Are you going to spank someone tonight?" I said "Eww you're disgusting" he said "Just kidding." That comment was very in appropriate to say to any customer. I will never come back to CVS..So nice to have a family dentist we felt really cares about us! From the time we walked in to the time we left great customer service. Meagan was also awesome very informative! Very happy with our experience... Thanks Dr.Diggs!A wonderful clean place. Well maintained and excellent teachers.Dr. Gambucci is the only chiropractor I trust to take care of my family.Sarah is an excellent therapist! She is highly educated and knows the body very well! I highly recommend her to anyone!I work across the street and i just fell in love with this bakery the first time i tried it. Their coffee is alright, but their pastries are just amazing!! I've had the fruit tart, strawberry cake, Tiramisu cake, GUAVA POCKET, and so much more i can't even recall, but i love this place!

I was totally feeling fry chicken with jambalaya and this place popped up on yelp with awesome reviews. I ordered online and within 30 min, it was ready for pick up. Fried chicken meal with side of coleslaw and fries: Their chicken was super crispy on the outside and SO juicy on the inside. There wasnt one piece that was dry. This was so much better than KFC or any other fried chicken I"ve had. Their coleslaw that came with the meal was super small. Portioned only for 1 person. Their fries are good, but I'd have to say.. pay extra and go for the sweet potato fries... SO GOOD.. dusted with a little bit of cinnamon and powdered sugar. It's perfect with the chicken. Jambalaya : sausages, chicken and rice inside and the flavor was phenomenal! A little on the spicy side. I ordered this with a side of cornbread too, which was actually a tiny corn muffin. Tips: Call in to order instead of ordering online, so it's faster and they don't get charged :)Beats 99% of the (profanity removed)ty jobs out there by a long shotOmg! NOT a 4-STAR RESTAURANT, not even a 2-star restaurant!! At least not for lunch yesterday... Where to begin... How about the server talking on his cell phone while placing chow mein on our table?? We ordered: * Wor wonton soup... with DRY, DARK EDGES on the wontons (see pics), shrimp that tasted fishy, and "beef" that was the soggy texture of canned dog food. How do y'all open at 11am, and by lunch the soup tastes & looks old?? Oohh, cause it WAS NOT made today, like I said yesterday's or the day before... nasty! We actually sent it back!! * Chicken chow mein, apparently without chicken, haha. It had like 4 pieces on the side (see pic), and it tasted funny. Wanted to send it back, but felt bad since we'd already complained about the soup. Didn't touch it after tasting it. * Orange chicken lunch plate with COLD steamed rice. Lil man said his ckicken was hard to chew (tough), and that Panda's orange chicken is waayy better. * Szechwan chicken lunch plate with fried rice... who scrambles an egg into steamed rice then calls it fried rice?? That's all that was in it-- scrambled egg bits!! No veggies, no seasoning, nothing (see pics). Overall, this place was super disgusting, a HUGE LET DOWN, like I wish we had just gone to Panda where at least you know they're cooking up fresh batches all day. We are lucky to be introduced to Steve's being from Portland, our friend's knew right where to take us. The restaurant was very clean and didn't have the dingy "breakfast joint" theme I expected. I ate the Huckleberry Stuffed French Toast and sausage. The French toast was delicious, but sweet as expected and the sausage some of the best I have ever had, even coming from a "foody" town. My husband had steak and eggs, which he says were very good, the only reason we didn't clean our plates was because it was a lot of food!! The coffee was good (and much needed after five days worth of partying and traveling the great State of Montana), and they came to fill me up on the regular. The service was good, pretty pleasant, got our food in a reasonable time. Overall, a very good experience. Trying to figure out how to get back tomorrow before we leave town, I want to try the Rueben!Very friendlyCody is going on vacation for two weeks. :'(This location is poorly organized and way understaffed! I didn't want to tack that onto our combo BBQ order and the NakJi Bo Kum or octopus pasta dish, so I'll have to come back and try the shabu next time. The picture on the menu certainly looked tasty. The Nakji Bo Kum was an attractive dish, angel-hair like pasta tossed in a bright red sauce with assorted vegetables and of course, thumb-sized tentacles that were pretty chewy. I can do sliced octopus but I can't do whole tentacles, they look like purple, bruised pinky fingers to me. The BBQ platter yielded really tender cuts of high quality chadol, bacon, ribs, shrimp and chicken. I think Ellyn P. ordered some fried fish, not sure what kind, but it was too fishy smelling for me. So, more like 3.5 stars because I didn't get to try the shabu-shabu, but I'm rounding it up to 4 because I was in great company.Everyone loves to hate on the po-po, but I think these UCR police are okay I guess for police. They don't seem to harass people too much for illegal window tints, no front plates, and petty crap like that. Also they don't try to screw with the ricers like another university police department I know of. Now parking services, those fools are awful, negative one star if you ask me. But UCRPD is okay. If someone breaks into your car or something go see these guys, they are alright.
